Bart Baker - Im the One Parody

STANDFUS (Standfuβ) Johann (?) K. (born unknown - d. C. 1759, Hamburg) - German violinist and composer. Little information has been preserved about his life and work. OK.1750-56 was a violinist and accompanist theater. G. Koch's troupe in Leipzig, then moved to Weimar (it is reliably known that Sh. was in Weimar until 1757). Sh. Created the first dumb. singspine “Devil at large, or Transformed women” (text by C. Weiss, in the English ballad opera by C. Coffey “The devil to pay or the Wives metamorphosed”), which went with great success. In 1766 there was a post. processing by I. A. Hiller, text by Weiss, where Sh .’s music was partially preserved, including songs. The melodies of the songs are close to folk (some consist of a series of short melodic phrases that are repeated or sequenced), they are accompanied by a simple accompaniment of a homophonic warehouse. The music of Shingspiel C. "The Funny Cobbler" is also partially used in the same. Hiller singspiel.
