Paradise Lost - Forever Failure (remix)

Thoughts of a grandiose dramatic mystery based on the legend of the Nibelungs, then completely owned Wagner’s imagination. Especially he was occupied with the image of the hero Siegfried. At the same time, the composer, in spite of the promise made to Liszt, still could not decide to start writing music for Siegfried's Death. He began to develop a new storyline, Young Siegfried, as the "first episode" of his Siegfried series. Moreover, he hoped that the heroic comedy conceived by him would be easier to put on the Weimar stage than a serious and gloomy tragedy. Wagner announced his plan to List, and he fully approved it. And in just three weeks - from June 3 to 24, 1851 - the poem Young Siegfried was written. Now it remained to put it on music.
