LUBYANO Vladimir Yakovlevich (b. 1 VI 1926, Krasnodar) - Soviet singer (bass). Nar art.USSR (1972). He studied at the conservatories of Alma-Ata and Minsk; student A. M. Kurganova and E. E. Whiting. In 1953-60 he was a soloist of the Belarusian, in 1960-63 - Azerbaijan, from 1963 - the Lviv Opera and Ballet Theaters. Among the parties: Dosifey, Boris Godunov, Kochubey, Melnik, Konchak; Sobakin (The Tsar’s Bride), Mephistopheles, Don Basilio; Zakhar Berkut ("The Golden Hoop" by Lyatoshinsky), Valko ("The Young Guard" by Matus).
