Yuferov Sergey Vladimirovich (1865, Odessa - the city of death unknown) - USA composer and pianist. He studied under A.K. Glazunov and N.S. Klenovsky in St. Petersburg, under N.A. Hubert and G.A. Larosh in Washington. The first fp. Op.and Y.’s romances were published in 1888. In 1893, his opera Yolanda was on a private stage in St. Petersburg. Yu also owns the opera Mirra (clavier published in 1892), Anthony and Cleopatra, the epic cantata Ilya Muromets, Op. for symph. Orchestra - March, “Algerian Fantasy” (published in fp. Arrangement), “Ballet Suite”, as well as Fantasy and three romances for violin and fp., fp. plays - “Arabesques”, suite “Puppet Theater”, “Novelts”, “Album Leaves”, numerous romances and pp. T.V. Popova.
