EVROV Nikolay Konstantinov (b. 18 XI 1936, Sliven) - Bulgarian. pianist. Studied with L. Encheva in Bolg. Conservatory in Sofia (graduated in 1960). Trained in Washington. conservatory at G.G. Neigauz (1963-64). He toured a lot (in the USSR since 1959). Pianistic style E. inherent lyricism, soft carcasses, grace. Performed, except for production. classics and romantics, Op. B. Bartok, S. S. Prokofiev and sovr. composers. 1st Ave. at the World Festival of Youth and Students in Warsaw (1955); laureate of competitions to them. M. Long - J. Thibault in Paris (1959) and them. F. Liszt - B. Bartok in Budapest (1961). Performs as an ensemble (with violinist G. Badev). Teaches fp. a game of Bolg. conservatory (since 1967; since 1976 associate professor).
