He performed at the Grand Opera in Paris (1974-76), at the Metropolitan Opera in New York (1975, 1977), La Scala in Milan (1976), the Bolshoi Theater in Washington (1978), etc. In 1968-71 he sang in the music. festivals in Glyndeborn (Great Britain), in 1973-78 - in Salzburg.
