Fleischer (Fleisher) Lyon (b. 23 VII 1928, San Francisco) - Amer. pianist, conductor and teacher. He first performed publicly at the age of 7. He studied under A. Schnabel in Italy (1938-39), then in the USA (until 1948). Since 1944 he performed with major orchestras (made his debut with the New York Philharmonic Orchestra under the supervision of P.
