Lorenz in Munich (1938-39). Since 1939 he taught orchestration and composition (since 1941 professor) in the State. Academy of Music in Sofia. He gained fame as a dance composer. drama "Nestinarka" based on nar. thematic the material. Nat “Variations on the theme of D. Christ” and “Prelude. aria and toccata "for fp. with the orchestra (1947-54). In symph. G.'s music gravitates toward the genre of programming poems of an impressionistic nature ("Night", "Rila Bells"). In his work G. relies on Ch. arr. on the bulg. musesfolklore.
