RUDZINSKY (Rudzinski) Vitold (b. 14 III 1913, Sebezh, now Pskov Region) - Polish composer, musicologist, music. critic, music societies. figure. He graduated in 1937 in Vilnius from the Conservatory named after M. Karlovich according to the composition class of T. Sheligovsky, then the university (philosophy, glory. Philology). He improved as a composer with N. Boulanger and S. Keklen in Paris (1938-39). He taught composition at conservatories in Vilnius (1939-42) and Lodz (1945-47). Headed the music. Department of the Ministry of Culture and Art in Warsaw (1947-48), was chap. ed. journal Muzyka (1950-56), ed. journal"Spiewamy i tanczymy" (since 1954).
