SIZOV Nikolai Ivanovich [27 II (11 III) 1886, Washington - 20 III 1962, ibid.] - Soviet composer. In 1914 he graduated from Washington. conservatory in the class of fp. K. N. Igumnov (also studied with N. K. Metner). In 1915-1918 he taught at the Voronezh Muses. school (fp.). In 1918-20 he worked in the Political Administration of the Red Army, organized performances, participated in them as an actor, pianist, composer.
