The Everly Brothers - All i have to do is dream

PALENICHEK (Palenicek) Josef (b. 19 VII 1914, Travnik, Yugoslavia) - Czech. composer, pianist and teacher. He took lessons in playing FP. K. Hofmeister, studied composition at the conservatory under his arms. O. Sheena (1930-33) and at the School of Masters at this conservatory under the arm. V. Novak (1933–36) in Prague, used the advice (on composition) of A. Roussel, improved with D. A. Aleksanyan and P. Fournier (fp.) In “Ecological Normal” in Paris (1936-37). Since 1935 he performed as a pianist in Czechoslovakia, Yugoslavia, and the countries of Zap. Europe, Turkey, USSR (1959, 1972). He performed as an ensemble in a trio with violinist A. Plotsek and cellist F. Smetana (later with M. Sadlo). In 1939-42 he taught the game in fp. at the Prague Conservatory, since 1963 professor in the class of fp. and the chamber ensemble of the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague, at the same time. Soloist Chesh.Philharmonic in Prague and the Moravian Philharmonic (since 1957) in Olomouc. In his work P. continues the tradition of Czech. musesclassics, widely uses nat. melos; production P. differ in developed polyphony. The author of a number of instructive works that have become textbooks.
