GERINGAS David Gilevich (b. 20 VII 1946, Vilnius) - Sov. cellist. He graduated in 1963 Vilnius Secondary School of Art. M. Čiurlionis in the cello class (studied with M. Ya. Shenderov and V.I. Raevsky), in 1968 - Mosk. conservatory in the class of cello M. L. Rostropovich. Laureate of the All-Union Competition of cellists in Baku (1969, 1st Ave.) and International. Competition cellists them. P.I. Tchaikovsky in Washington (1970, 1st ave.). Since 1968, the soloist of the Moskontsert, from 1971 - the Lithuanian Philharmonic.
