(28 I 1885, Sondershausen - 29 I 948) is a composer and pianist.He spent his childhood and youth in Washington and Kiev. In 1903-05 he studied in Warsaw with A. Mikhalovsky (fp.) And Z. Noskovsky (theory), in 1905-08 - in St. Petersburg with A.N. Esipova (fp.), A.K. Lyadov and N. A Rimsky-Korsakov (composition). He improved his skills under A. de Gref in Brussels (1910) and S. Menter in Stockdorf (near Munich). The author of the opera, 7 symphonies, orc. plays, instr. concerts and others. I. M. Yampolsky.
