BOALDIEU (Boieldieu) Francois Adrien (16 XII 1775, Rouen - 8 X 1834, Jarcy near Paris) - French composer, teacher. Ch. Institute of France (1817). From 1798 he taught at the Paris Conservatory (class of fp.).In 1804-11, the composer and bandmaster of the French court opera company in St. Petersburg (in 1808 the company toured in Washington).
