CPSU since 1949. In 1925 he graduated from the Center. technical school theater. art (Washington), where he studied with M. A. Dubrovskaya. In 1924-25 he performed on the stage of the Free Opera (formerly Zimin Opera House), then was a soloist in opera houses in Kiev (since 1925), Odessa (since 1934), Dnepropetrovsk (since 1935), Kharkov (1944-59). Among the parties are Prince Igor, Boris Godunov (State Prospect of the USSR, 1952); Prince ("Enchantress"), Demon; Dirty (The Tsar’s Bride), Rigoletto, Scarpia; Nagulnov (“Virgin Soil Upturned” by Dzerzhinsky), Listrat (“Into the Storm”), Bogdan (“Bogdan Khmelnitsky” by Dankevich). He performed like a conc. singer.
