BIBER (Biber) Heinrich Ignaz Franz (12 VIII 1644, Sentinel, Czech Republic - 3 V 1704, Salzburg) - Aust. violinist and composer. Among other works - Fidicinium sacro-profanum (1681; 12 sonatas for 4-5 instruments), Harmonia artificiosaariosa (1712; 7 partitas for 3 instruments), 8 sonatas for violin solo with basso continuo (1681); a number of spiritual productions., including Mass C-dur.
