At the turn of the 14-15 centuries. the first treatises of ital appeared. dance masters. Practitioners and theorists of dance. the arts used the method of variation in solo dances and maintained the unity of the ensemble in the advancements of groups, developing the so-called figured dance. The word “B. ” appeared, which then denoted compositions that conveyed in the dance not a plot, but a property or state of character. The art of B. itself has so far ripened inside other forms: processions, masquerades, horse tournaments, solemn meals.
