Until the mid-fifties, Presley moved from place to place, but all of their addresses were located north of the city center, in the former prestigious quarter abandoned by the bourgeoisie: the development of the automotive industry allowed wealthy families to settle in green suburbs far from the center. Former mansions gradually turned into anthills to accommodate as many residents as possible. Taking advantage of the housing crisis, homeowners were breaking in incredible prices for tiny, poorly equipped apartments that were in violation of all sanitary standards.
