Before Easter in 1802, Beethoven was going to arrange another benefit to earn money and introduce the crowns to his Second Symphony and a new, minor piano concerto. However, the director of court theaters, Baron Peter von Braun, at the last moment refused to provide the already promised hall. The pretext was clearly far-fetched, and Beethoven suspected that Brown was only doing someone’s evil will — but whose? .. Although Beethoven had many enemies in Vienna, none of them had enough influence to impede the construction of his academy.
