Faster than usual - for this story excited him a little - at first he walked along the same road that he had come, but, having reached the embankment, he slowed down and took a detour, making a big detour along the rampart. Absorbed in thoughts about the fate of the poor lovers, he went over the memory of all his friends and patrons who could help them in one way or another. But, before undertaking anything, he needed to find out everything from the girl herself in detail, and therefore he decided to calmly wait for her and, running ahead with an impatient thought, he saw himself already at home, under his care.
