George quickly caught the mood of the musicians and realized that Axl Rose was extremely angry. When the group entered the scene (Axl was wearing white jeans, a pink bandana and a white T-shirt from the Zurich tattoo convention), Chin was struck by Axl's sincere pressure. “That evening at the concert,” Chin recalled, “I first saw the vocalist pour out his anger on stage. It was pure vocal energy; Axl screamed, stamped his feet and wriggled until his irritation left him and his anger was gone. ”
