The orchestra is able to demonstrate such outstanding results that the audience literally grow numb with surprise. This happens only when the orchestra, conductor and soloist reach the highest degree of mutual understanding and unity of creative will. Then this amazing state arises, which makes you forget all the stresses and troubles that are usual in preparing for a speech. I myself have experienced such moments more than once, and at every such moment I have admired the possibilities that are enclosed in a good orchestra. If the conductor is able to bring to life and mobilize this potential, the concert can be an event that will be remembered for a long time.
