The studio version of Paul and Linda McCartney’s song “Live and Let Die”, which Guns made the highlight of the concert program, is like a soundtrack to an imaginary film about a rock band licensed, if not murder, then arbitrarily long delays. The Guns version resembles Wings under steroids. Axl begins to sing in a choked voice, and Shannon Hung singing along with his youthful tenor: "You know that it is." The main riff is played by the wind section with Duff's brother at the head. The chorus contains a menacingly frank appeal: when the changing world is trying to break your spirit, you just need to attack, with the same confidence as the ruthless agent 007.
