Against the backdrop of hysteria, both Wagnerians and anti-Wagnerians, objective voices of professionals who are not infected by morbid fanaticism are perceived as a breath of fresh air. Therefore, let us cite two opinions about Wagner of those who have earned the right to such statements by their own talent: two equal-sized composers who are difficult to suspect of being too addicted to Wagner, but who nevertheless paid tribute to his art - Tchaikovsky and Grieg.
