The meeting that happened a couple of days after my visit to one concert was very significant for me. I met a student friend who we had not seen for a long time. He said that recently he has been writing music reviews for a major newspaper. Of course, I asked him if he liked the concert and what he was going to write about it. Instead of an answer, he asked me to tell him what to write, since he himself was not able to come up with anything. Such “critics,” most likely, are half-educated, poorly versed in music and ready to talk about some completely unimportant, secondary things, but they can be a serious danger to the music world.
