Korn - Play Me (featuring Nas)

By Christmas 1792, bad news had arrived from Bonn. First, Johann van Beethoven died on December 18. Secondly, it turned out that before his death, or even earlier, Johann managed to destroy a document according to which the elector undertook to pay Ludwig a salary due to his father - 100 thalers intended to support his younger brothers, Caspar Karl and Nikolaus Johann. These payments were renewed only in the summer of 1793, and by proxy of Beethoven they were received by a friend of the family, Franz Anton Ries, who looked after the Ludwig brothers. However, the organist's promised salary to Beethoven himself was paid in a reduced amount, and after March 1794 he was generally left to his own devices.
