One of these musicians, Chris Weber, saw everything with his own eyes from the very beginning. He grew up in West Hollywood and went to Fairfax school with Slash and Stephen Adler, who were in a class older than him. Slash and Stephen played in one of two school bands, Road Crew. Another group was called Pyrrhus, the frontman in it was Tracy Hans. Chris has been playing the guitar since he was nine years old. His parents bought him a small version of Les Paul with a hollow body, and at sixteen he started playing in local bands. Chris tried to imitate Jimmy Page and was a classic rocker teenager: he wore fashionable leather clothes and dyed his hair white, like a guy from Hanoi Rocks, a Finnish band that moved to Hollywood in a glam wave.
