He began telling Mick Wall that the Guns were pondering the offer of the Rolling Stones to be their opening act in Los Angeles, when the Stones would come to town at the end of the year with their acclaimed reunion tour. On the tape from the interview you can hear the sounds of the party going downstairs: Izzy and Billy sing and play the guitars. Finally, Slash went into the kitchen, hoping the guests left him a bottle of Jack Daniels. Izzy looked in again, grabbed Slash's twelve-string guitar, and darted down again. The phone rang again. The party lasted two days until everyone passed out.
