Aerosmith - Shame, Shame, Shame

In 1977, punk rock hit central America like thunder. The records did not sell well, but the culture itself had a tremendous impact on the minds of adolescents. The "Never Mind the Bollocks" Sex Pistols, with its roaring guitars and anarchist moods, was everywhere. Next came Clash along with Generation X, Subway Sect and The Slits. The Ramones blew up New York and gave a concert in Indianapolis. Bill and Jeff had the first two Ramones albums on cassettes, and they spent hours listening to these simple songs in three chords. Also this year, Boston set a sales record for the band's debut album. “More Than a Feeling” sounded from every eatery. Bill liked the album, and he learned most of the songs.
