Motorhead - Better Off Dead

Jean Auguste Dominique Ingres (Ingres; 1780–1867) - French artist. From childhood, he studied not only painting, but also playing the violin, and even played in the orchestra of the Toulouse theater. He studied at the Toulouse Academy of Arts, from 1797 he improved in Paris with Jacques Louis David. In 1806-1824 he lived in Italy, seriously studied the work of Raphael and other Renaissance artists. After returning to Paris, he opened his own school of painting. Ten years later, he again left for Italy, where he headed (1835–1841) the French Academy in Rome. In 1841, he settled permanently in Paris. He entered the world history of painting primarily as a magnificent portrait painter, he also painted paintings on literary, mythological, historical subjects.
