By the time I went downstairs, almost no one was left in the yard. And then I saw this guy in the shadow of the doorway: spilled Sonny! I already opened my mouth to call him, but then I realized that this was not Sonny at all, but the other — a familiar guy from our block, my friend Sonny. I never communicated with him - he was much younger than me and was generally not good for me. Even now, he was already quite an adult, still aimlessly wandering around the block, still hanging around the corner for hours, always torn off and at the platoon. From time to time I came across him, and usually he used this to beg for half- or a quarter of a dollar from me. He always had explanations ready, and I always gave him money - I don’t know why.
