Slash supplemented the third GN'R model with vocalist Theodore Andreadis, known as Teddy Zig-Zag, who revolved in the same New Jersey music circles as Bruce Springsteen. Teddy sang at Shannon Hoon's concerts in Don't Cry and other ballads, and also played harmonica, keyboards and tambourines when required. Axl also hired three female vocalists: Diane Jones, Roberta Freeman and Tracy Emos, and three 976 Horns members: Lisa Maxwell, Ceci Warrall and Annie King. The six girls, often in short shorts and black leather bustiers, traveled with Guns around the world for the next two years and added charm (not only musically) to new Guns N 'Roses arrangements, especially stadium versions of other people's songs.
