Axl returned in a black coat over a Thin Lizzy T-shirt, with a black leather cap on his head. Dancing with new energy, the source of which may have originated in the hills of Peru, he waved his legs as if performing a cancan during Slash's blues guitar solo. The group then moved on to the last song of their program, “Paradise City,” and fans began trying to get on stage. During a guitar solo, a fight broke out in front of the stage, and Axl jumped straight into the crowd with a crazy expression on his face. While Slash continued his gags, Doug Goldstein and King Kong Ron Roady rushed to rescue Ax and finally returned the vocalist to the stage, where he sang “Paradise City” with newfound strength, making the whole crowd scream with him: “Take me home.”
