Shadows Fall - Act Of Contrition

The band, dubbed Hollywood Rose, recorded five songs on the now defunct Hollywood sixteen-track studio in late January 1984, just after Mötley Crüe vocalist Vince Neal had an accident, resulting in drummer Hanoi traveling with him Rocks Nick "Razzle" Dingli died. This sad event cast a shadow over the entire Hollywood glam scene, but not for long: the Hanoi Rocks were cool and lit right, but in the Hollywood jungle, sympathy changed quickly, so everyone soon forgot about them. Vince Neal managed to get out of prison in just eighteen days, but the Hanoi Rocks could not survive the loss. Their potentially stellar career was ruined in the bud by a member of a rival group.
