ABLEZ Isaak Mikhailovich (1778-1829) - Russian ballet dancer, choreographer, teacher. In 1796 he graduated from St. Petersburg. theatre. school and was enrolled in the ballet troupe of the imp. theaters. Pupil I. I. Walberha. In 1807 he was transferred “in the rank of dancer” to Moscow, where he performed in “noble” and characteristic dances. He staged ballets-divertissements (“Gishpan Nights”, 1809), comedy ballets (“School of Pierrot”, 1812) and pantomime ballets (“Algerians, or the Defeated Sea Robbers”, 1812) - all on combined music.
