The count family Brunswick de Coromp was ancient and rich, although not as powerful as the family of the princes of Esztergazi. Countess Anna, nee Baroness von Seefeld, widowed and raised four children in 1793: Teresa (1775–1861), Franz (1777–1849), Josephine (1779–1821) and Charlotte (1782–1843). The family owned the Koromp estate (now in Slovakia), the Martonvashar castle near Pest and the mansion in Ofen (western part of Budapest). The estates were to be transferred to the only son, Franz. And three daughters were to be married, although the younger sister, Charlotte, was still a very young girl, and that time they did not take her to Vienna. It was difficult to find a good party for both brides - or at least for one - for a couple of weeks. Nevertheless, Countess Brunswick succeeded.
