The case with “frets,” as major and minor are called in professional language, is not so simple and unambiguous. On the contrary, if we take into account the whole theoretical background, it looks rather complicated. During the years of study, I rather intensively and in detail studied the major-minor system and its dominant role in European music. But did I have to tell my friends about this now, make a report on major and minor thirds, intervals, overtones and other musical and theoretical details? After all, I wanted to prepare them for the concert in a live performance, and not to bombard with special scientific questions.
