The recording had the working title “The Sex, The Drugs, The Violence, The Shoking Truth”. On the first side were four songs from the UZI Suicide mini-album (Reckless Life, Nice Boys, Move to the City, Mama Kin) and four tracks recorded during the acoustic session earlier in this year. The first was "Patience," composed by Izzy and the motive whistled by Axl, a gentle song addressed to a sad woman, including a solo on a resonating guitar. In a code that was later hooked up to stir up a boring ballad, Axl's vocals grow from a low metallic to almost childish scream. “Used to Love Her,” a song about killing an annoying girlfriend, was like a fun fake for the Eagles (written by Izzy and Slash). 'You're Crazy ”has evolved from a metal buzz on the Appetite to southern rock and blues ar-n-bj with beautiful guitars.
