Megaherz - Burn

On the facade, to the left of the entrance to the building, Wagner ordered the first line of the symbolic inscription: Hier, wo mein Wähnen Frieden fand to be knocked out with gold, the second line to the right: Sei dieses Haus von mir benannt. The composer called the villa itself “Wanfried” (Wahnfried, from Wahn - dream, illusion, delusion and Frieden - peace, sealed above the entrance, just between the left and right lines. Accordingly, the complete inscription can be literally translated like this: "Here, where my dreams have found peace," Peace of dreams "but you are going to name it, this house is for me." Does this mean that the dream has already been realized, that the soul has calmed down and it has nothing more to desire? If we take as a basis the second meaning of the word Wahn - delusion, illusion, then the name of the villa can be interpreted as "pacified, lost illusions, delusions." In any case, living in a house with the name "Vanfried" knows for surewhat he wants out of life, deceptive illusions - not for him. Wagner wanted to make it clear by the very name of his refuge that all his dreams had come true.
