Project 86 - Me Against Me

LURA (from the French. Loure - bagpipes) - French. Nardance, which was spread among the peasants of Normandy. Performed to the accompaniment of muses. instrument L. (hence the name). Size 6/4. The movement is slow, smooth. In con. 17 - beg. 18 centuries French composers and choreographers introduced L. into opera and ballet (often as a mass dance of corps de ballet). In the 18th century L. is also included in the instr. suite (I.S. Bach, I.F. Kirnberger, etc.).
